Abnormal Transport takes on many shapes and sizes. We are experienced in moving all types of loads, be it by road, sea, canal or even by air if necessary. Our growing reputation won us a contract for the movement of large plates for the accomplished artist Richard Serra. Customised lifting beams were used along with a tailor made delivery programme.

From static loads to self propelled we are in a position to offer a complete solution to any problem. The international nature of Link Global Logistics facilitates movement of goods throughout the world and our local network of partners is second to none. We deal direct with our partners only, there is no third party involvement, which ensures that all laws, permits and environmental issues are clearly defined and complied with.

Although not our main core business, we are happy to offer an International standard transport service from single pallet to full load as required by the customer. In some cases this has involved taking on the customer’s complete transport requirements as an extension to their own business.

Link Global Logistics is not limited to mainland Europe. We offer a deep sea service for both out of gauge and standard loads. This can involve shipping by conventional vessels, roro or containerisation and open flat racks. We have partners that operate their own ships and barges and recent movements have been to India and New Zealand. Our partners are based in Germany, The Netherlands and Italy.

As established experts in factory and abnormal movements the obvious next step was to offer an installation and removal of factory machinery service working alongside our specialist partners. They have expertise and knowledge built up over decades, and attention to detail and a flexible approach ensures a client’s project goes as planned and on time every time. Work has already been carried out in the UK, Spain, Czech Republic, Belgium, France and Poland to name but a few.

Link Global Logistics is able to offer warehousing facilities in Birmingham, close to the UK motorway system. This includes racked and bulk storage, one warehouse being able to offer unloading by a 30 tonnes gantry crane. We are also pleased to offer storage in Hamburg and Rotterdam as well as inland storage in Germany and The Netherlands subject to customers’ requirements.
